This issue is
CAWG’s submission to the 42nd session of the UN Commission on Human
Rights. It includes reports on the situations in the Philippines, Sri Lanka,
South Korea, and East Timor. The topics of interests for these areas include
massacres, extrajudicial execution and disappearances, arrests and torture, mass
exodus and resource control, the situation of refugees, restriction of the
media, and government intervention in Church affairs and worship. Each country-specific
report concludes with CAWG’s action recommendations for the UN and the Canadian
government.
