CAWG Currents 11.4 (1989)

This issue is devoted entirely to the human rights situation in the Philippines, emphasizing the response of the Church. It also includes reports on labour and peasant movements, economic and political issues (ranging from debt, assistance programs, US bases, and peace initiatives) with action suggestions. The issue also contains a message of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, a report of the International Fact-Finding Mission on Internal Refugees in the Philippines, and an appeal to Japan by the Philippine-Japanese Forum on the Philippine Aid Plan.
