on human rights in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and East Timor, Taiwan, and
Sri Lanka with action suggestions. It also includes a letter from Monsignor
Belo to the Secretary General of the UN. For Korea, it reports extensively on
the movements for reunification and labour reform with action suggestions;
included is a statement of the Korea Christian Federation. For the Philippines,
it examines church repressions and includes statements of the National
Ecumenical Forum for Church Response and the Association of Major Religious
Superiors in the Philippines.
