In this issue, CAWG explains the
process for evaluation of its submission to session of the UN Commission of
Human Rights to its subscribers. It also contains a report on the World
Conference on Human Rights (in Vienna and then the Bangkok Conference). A given
report is provided on human rights in South East Asia with recommendations.
Short reports on human rights conditions are also featured for Burma, Indonesia
and East Timor, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka with suggestions. The issue
concludes with an economic report on development and conditions in Philippines
and its human rights situation.
