This issues
contains the submission to the 42nd session of the UN Commission on
Human Rights. It gives extensive reports on the Philippines, Sri Lanka, South
Korea, and East Timor. Each report examines human rights violations and
conditions, as well as the role of Canadian foreign policy therein, and
concludes with action suggestions for the United Nations and the Canadian and
native governments.
