This is a
special issue on the visit of Team Canada to South Korea and the Philippines
and includes a statement on trade and human rights, especially concerns
surrounding global corporations in South East Asia. It also includes a special
report on South Korea and its struggles for unionization and workers issues.
Also included is a special report on the Philippines, surrounding workers’
rights, social dislocation and displacement, environmental degradation,
militarization and human rights violations. It concludes with a report on the
confrontation of Team Canada by human rights advocacy groups and the response
of Team Canada.
