CAWG Currents 10.3 (1988)

In this issue, CAWG reports on human rights conditions in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and East Timor, Taiwan and Sri Lanka with action recommendations. It includes a transcript of the House of Commons debates on Indonesia and Singapore, a submission to the UN Special Committee on Decolonization on East Timor, and a report on Asian migrant workers in Japan. It also includes longer reports on South Korea and the Philippines, giving recommendations for violations against the trade union movement, attacks on human rights workers, and land reform struggles. It concludes with Villalba’s letter to Asian churches from prison.
